What this covers
Rackly is a matching service operated in Australia. It takes a request from a business that wants its pallet racking inspected and routes it to independent inspection providers. This page explains what personal information that involves, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
From a customer: your name, email address, optional phone number, the suburb or postcode of the warehouse, and the details you enter about the racking — approximate size, type, any damage you have noticed and when you need the inspection.
From a provider: your business name, contact name, email, optional phone, website, and what you tell us about your racking-inspection experience, insurance and service area.
We do not collect payment details, and there is no charge to submit a request.
Why we collect it, and who sees it
The request details and the warehouse location are shared with a small number of matched providers — at most three — so they can decide whether to quote. That sharing only happens after you tick the consent box, and the consent is enforced by the system rather than being a promise on a page.
Your name and contact details are NOT shared with providers when the request goes out. They are released to a single provider only at the point you select that provider’s quote.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
We email you about your own request — when a quote arrives, when a booking is proposed, and when something changes. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is honoured on every future send.
How long we keep it
Requests and the quotes against them are kept so both sides have a record of what was agreed. Ask us to delete your request and we will, unless we need to keep something to resolve a dispute between you and a provider.
Access, correction and complaints
Email admin@rackly.com.au to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you are not satisfied with how we handle that, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Security
Access to a request or a provider profile is by a private link or a password-protected account. We store password hashes rather than passwords, and access links are stored hashed so a copy of our database does not reveal them.
